About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide support to the Superintendent by overseeing the field construction process
Coordinate subcontractor work in all areas as assigned by the Superintendent
Act as a representative and advocate of JPI’s Culture and Guiding Principles
Oversee the management of safety of the project, ensuring that all safety measures are implemented daily
Ensure all project goals are met and schedules are created along with Superintendent
Supervise and delegate work to the positions of Assistant Superintendent, Punch Carpenters and Laborers
Serve as the Superintendent whenever the Superintendent is not available

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent
Bachelor’s degree in construction or related field is preferred
6-10 years of experience preferred
Minimum of 6 years of construction experience with at least two years of supervisory experience
A minimum of 5 years multi-family construction experience required
150+ unit multifamily construction experience highly preferred
Must be familiar with multifamily construction procedures
