About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide support to the Superintendent by overseeing the field construction process
  • Coordinate subcontractor work in all areas as assigned by the Superintendent
  • Act as a representative and advocate of JPI’s Culture and Guiding Principles
  • Oversee the management of safety of the project, ensuring that all safety measures are implemented daily
  • Ensure all project goals are met and schedules are created along with Superintendent
  • Supervise and delegate work to the positions of Assistant Superintendent, Punch Carpenters and Laborers
  • Serve as the Superintendent whenever the Superintendent is not available

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction or related field is preferred
  • 6-10 years of experience preferred
  • Minimum of 6 years of construction experience with at least two years of supervisory experience
  • A minimum of 5 years multi-family construction experience required
  • 150+ unit multifamily construction experience highly preferred
  • Must be familiar with multifamily construction procedures
