About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, test, and debug firmware for embedded systems;
- Integrate sensors, microcontrollers, and communication modules;
- Conduct bench testing and hardware validation;
- Document technical solutions and development processes;
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to define requirements;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of system reliability, safety, and performance;
- Maintain the work environment and tools.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience developing embedded systems using C and C++;
- Knowledge of microcontrollers, especially ESP32;
- Experience configuring peripherals, handling interrupts, telemetry, and inter-device communication;
- Familiarity with UART, I²C, SPI, and CAN protocols;
- Knowledge or interest in SAE J1939 and NMEA 2000;
- Experience with IoT devices, Wi‑Fi, LTE, MQTT, GNSS/GPS, and remote firmware updates (OTA);
- Knowledge of digital and analog electronics;
- Experience integrating sensors and reading electronic schematics;
- Experience with debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG;
- Familiarity with Git, version control, technical documentation, and development best practices;
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
