Management Accountant
Journey BeyondManagement Accountant supporting financial operations for Journey Beyond's Rail business in Adelaide, delivering financial reporting, analysis and modelling for growth support.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Month end accounting, performance analysis, data integration and reporting
- Assisting with annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
- Supporting on business case modelling
- Preparing monthly reports for business leaders and department managers including P&L’s, cost and labour reports, KPI’s and financial metrics
- Support in inventory reporting and analysis including stocktakes and wastage report
- Provide day to day support and business partnering services to the broader Rail team and ensure clear visibility on cost drivers to drive efficiency performance
- Build collaborative working relationships across Finance and the broader organisation and utilise data to assist in decision making
- Identifying, developing, implementing reporting and process improvements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
- Previous experience in management accounting, financial analysis, financial systems and modelling
- Advanced understanding of excel, data tables and extraction
- Reliable, professional, organised and shows initiative
- Strong customer service orientation and exceptional business acumen
