About the role
- Lead procurement, inventory management, and supply chain functions across all Cruise Whitsundays sites and vessels
- Report directly to the Guest Experience Manager
- Manage daily purchasing and procurement activities across sites and vessels
- Maintain optimal stock levels through effective inventory management
- Analyse inventory data to inform strategic decision-making
- Negotiate supplier agreements and pricing structures to secure best value
- Ensure accurate reporting and budget adherence while maintaining stock integrity across the organisation
- Foster relationships with suppliers to optimise costs and efficiencies
- Drive financial value and ensure alignment with operational needs
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in business/logistics/supply chain management or equivalent experience
- Open Australian Manual Drivers’ Licence
- Forklift Licence
- Proven experience in procurement, supply chain, or inventory management
- Strong financial skills for effective management of budgets, pricing, and supplier contracts
- Excellent negotiation skills to leverage supplier agreements and maximise rebate structures
- Strong analytical and reporting abilities to monitor stock levels and inform strategic decisions
- Proficiency in stock management systems (preferably Revel or similar)
- Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills
