About the role

  • Lead procurement, inventory management, and supply chain functions across all Cruise Whitsundays sites and vessels
  • Report directly to the Guest Experience Manager
  • Manage daily purchasing and procurement activities across sites and vessels
  • Maintain optimal stock levels through effective inventory management
  • Analyse inventory data to inform strategic decision-making
  • Negotiate supplier agreements and pricing structures to secure best value
  • Ensure accurate reporting and budget adherence while maintaining stock integrity across the organisation
  • Foster relationships with suppliers to optimise costs and efficiencies
  • Drive financial value and ensure alignment with operational needs

Requirements

  • Relevant qualification in business/logistics/supply chain management or equivalent experience
  • Open Australian Manual Drivers’ Licence
  • Forklift Licence
  • Proven experience in procurement, supply chain, or inventory management
  • Strong financial skills for effective management of budgets, pricing, and supplier contracts
  • Excellent negotiation skills to leverage supplier agreements and maximise rebate structures
  • Strong analytical and reporting abilities to monitor stock levels and inform strategic decisions
  • Proficiency in stock management systems (preferably Revel or similar)
  • Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills
