About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support project executives on multiple projects and assignments
  • Maintain on-site presence 4-5 days per week
  • Develop scope, schedule, and budget for assigned projects
  • Identify and address project risks, logistical issues, budget concerns, and scope concerns
  • Create, coordinate, and track vendor Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
  • Interact and negotiate with contractors and vendors
  • Prepare and update project status reports
  • Process invoices, update tracking reports, and maintain due-diligence and financial files
  • Track project schedules against critical paths to identify risk
  • Coordinate vendors’ and contractors’ activities according to scope and schedule, including critical support spaces
  • Meet client and project requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Use Project Development Services technology as required
  • Perform other reasonable assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience in project management
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering complex commercial construction projects across a wide array of project types ranging from office space to manufacturing facilities
  • Strong understanding of building systems, construction methods, and materials
  • Proficiency in reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
  • Knowledge of building codes, ADA requirements, and local jurisdictional regulations
  • Familiarity with sustainable building practices and LEED certification processes
  • Ability to prepare and track budgets, forecasts, schedules, and project risk assessments
  • Ability to adapt, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced team or independent environment
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to successfully communicate with architects, contractors, client representatives, and team members
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and Project Management Applications
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20-30%
