About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support project executives on multiple projects and assignments
Maintain on-site presence 4-5 days per week
Develop scope, schedule, and budget for assigned projects
Identify and address project risks, logistical issues, budget concerns, and scope concerns
Create, coordinate, and track vendor Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
Interact and negotiate with contractors and vendors
Prepare and update project status reports
Process invoices, update tracking reports, and maintain due-diligence and financial files
Track project schedules against critical paths to identify risk
Coordinate vendors’ and contractors’ activities according to scope and schedule, including critical support spaces
Meet client and project requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner
Use Project Development Services technology as required
Perform other reasonable assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience in project management
Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering complex commercial construction projects across a wide array of project types ranging from office space to manufacturing facilities
Strong understanding of building systems, construction methods, and materials
Proficiency in reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
Knowledge of building codes, ADA requirements, and local jurisdictional regulations
Familiarity with sustainable building practices and LEED certification processes
Ability to prepare and track budgets, forecasts, schedules, and project risk assessments
Ability to adapt, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced team or independent environment
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to successfully communicate with architects, contractors, client representatives, and team members
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and Project Management Applications
Willingness to travel approximately 20-30%
