About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist senior executives with complex strategic projects including M&A transactions, joint ventures, corporate partnerships, and divestitures
- Build financial models using discounted cash flow analysis, public and transaction comparables, and build-versus-buy analysis
- Draft executive-level memoranda, presentations, reports, and strategic materials
- Perform comprehensive due diligence and collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess transaction opportunities and risks
- Support transaction negotiations and structuring with internal and external legal counsel and professional consultants
- Conduct industry and competitive research, including SEC filings and market reports
- Identify attractive acquisition or partnership targets
- Coordinate project timelines and deliverables across multiple stakeholders to ensure seamless transaction execution
Requirements
What you’ll need- Undergraduate degree with a major in finance, economics, business administration, science, or technical field
- 1–3 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, or management consulting focused on acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, or strategic investments
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to convey analytical insights effectively to senior management
- Extensive proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel modeling and PowerPoint presentation development
- Intellectual curiosity and demonstrated interest in the commercial real estate sector
- Ability to work autonomously with a solution-focused mindset in fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environments
- Previous internship or project experience in real estate, finance, or consulting environments
- Familiarity with financial statement analysis and valuation methodologies
- Experience with data analysis tools and financial databases beyond standard Microsoft applications
- Knowledge of commercial real estate market dynamics, trends, and key industry players
- Exposure to transaction management processes or M&A workflows
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex business challenges
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
