About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist senior executives with complex strategic projects including M&A transactions, joint ventures, corporate partnerships, and divestitures
Build financial models using discounted cash flow analysis, public and transaction comparables, and build-versus-buy analysis
Draft executive-level memoranda, presentations, reports, and strategic materials
Perform comprehensive due diligence and collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess transaction opportunities and risks
Support transaction negotiations and structuring with internal and external legal counsel and professional consultants
Conduct industry and competitive research, including SEC filings and market reports
Identify attractive acquisition or partnership targets
Coordinate project timelines and deliverables across multiple stakeholders to ensure seamless transaction execution

Requirements

What you’ll need

Undergraduate degree with a major in finance, economics, business administration, science, or technical field
1–3 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, or management consulting focused on acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, or strategic investments
Exceptional project management and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to convey analytical insights effectively to senior management
Extensive proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel modeling and PowerPoint presentation development
Intellectual curiosity and demonstrated interest in the commercial real estate sector
Ability to work autonomously with a solution-focused mindset in fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environments
Previous internship or project experience in real estate, finance, or consulting environments
Familiarity with financial statement analysis and valuation methodologies
Experience with data analysis tools and financial databases beyond standard Microsoft applications
Knowledge of commercial real estate market dynamics, trends, and key industry players
Exposure to transaction management processes or M&A workflows
Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex business challenges
Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
