About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist the Facility Management Team with tactical planning for team goals and objectives
  • Provide facility-specific assistance and manage assigned facility management tasks
  • Coordinate special events and maintenance activities
  • Provide overall facility management services, including continuous office/facility monitoring
  • Interface with clients, visitors, and guests and ensure customer follow-up
  • Assist with budget requests, analysis, reporting, and variance research
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and risk management policies and procedures
  • Conduct property inspections and daily walkthroughs, including janitorial and landscape requirements
  • Respond to work orders promptly and ensure KPI compliance and customer service
  • Coordinate vendors, facilities staff, and service providers with minimal disruption
  • Conduct quality assurance site visits with janitorial vendors
  • Support teamwork, cooperation, performance excellence, and client relationships
  • Use CMMS daily for overall work-order management
  • Work occasional overtime and/or be on call as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in facility management, property management, or building operations
  • Ability to learn and use a smartphone to retrieve work orders and email
  • Excellent internal and external customer service skills
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire/life safety
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to time-sensitive situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholders
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel between multiple properties up to 30%
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Preferred: proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
  • Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to work occasional overtime and/or be on call
