About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage, track, and optimize operational technology assets across JLL-managed facilities
  • Maintain accurate records of hardware, software, and networked devices
  • Oversee OT asset lifecycles from acquisition through deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning
  • Conduct regular audits and inventory reconciliations
  • Collaborate with facility managers, IT, and engineering teams on asset activities and project implementations
  • Generate and analyze asset management reports on performance, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Ensure OT assets comply with regulatory, safety, and cybersecurity requirements
  • Support firmware and software patch management
  • Manage Utility-Net VPN user accounts and troubleshooting
  • Serve as point of contact for the Building Technology Enterprise Support team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Facilities Management, or related technical field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in asset management, building automation systems, or operational technology environments
  • Demonstrated expertise in Building Management Systems (BMS) and Building Automation Systems (BAS) applications and functionality
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity requirements and patch management processes for operational technology systems
  • Experience with asset management software systems and database management for inventory tracking and reporting
  • Ability to conduct audits and reconciliations and generate meaningful reports from complex data
  • Ability to work effectively with IT, engineering, and facility management teams
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Preferred: professional certifications in facility management, building automation, or cybersecurity (CFM, CEM, CISSP, etc.)
  • Preferred: experience with Building Technology Asset Management Systems (BTAMS) or similar enterprise asset management platforms
  • Preferred: knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements for operational technology in commercial real estate
  • Preferred: understanding of building technology and smart building systems trends and best practices
  • Preferred: vendor relationship and service provider contract management experience
  • Preferred: project management experience supporting multiple implementations
  • Preferred: excellent documentation and communication skills for audit preparation and stakeholder reporting
