About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee all aspects of project implementation and execution, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and construction through completion and occupancy.
- Manage complex projects from conception to delivery, potentially including ground-up construction with pre-construction duties.
- Provide appropriate on-site supervision to ensure project performance criteria are being met.
- Establish and manage comprehensive project budgets covering both hard and soft costs.
- Maintain monthly forecasts and cash flow analysis, prepare anticipated cost reports, and provide construction cost/benefit analysis.
- Collaborate extensively with architects, engineers, client staff, property managers, vendors, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Lead technical coordination across all design disciplines, reviewing architectural and engineering drawings for accuracy and completeness.
- Manage contractor relationships and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, etc.)
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, preferably in the commercial real estate industry
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion
- Demonstrated experience managing external design consultants and coordinating multi-contractor environments
- Ability to review and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
