About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee all aspects of project implementation and execution, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and construction through completion and occupancy.
Manage complex projects from conception to delivery, potentially including ground-up construction with pre-construction duties.
Provide appropriate on-site supervision to ensure project performance criteria are being met.
Establish and manage comprehensive project budgets covering both hard and soft costs.
Maintain monthly forecasts and cash flow analysis, prepare anticipated cost reports, and provide construction cost/benefit analysis.
Collaborate extensively with architects, engineers, client staff, property managers, vendors, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
Lead technical coordination across all design disciplines, reviewing architectural and engineering drawings for accuracy and completeness.
Manage contractor relationships and navigate complex stakeholder environments.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in a related field (Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, etc.)
Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, preferably in the commercial real estate industry
Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion
Demonstrated experience managing external design consultants and coordinating multi-contractor environments
Ability to review and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Excellent organizational and time management abilities to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
