About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repair services on commercial HVAC systems, including packaged units, air handlers, chillers, boilers, and associated equipment
- Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot electrical distribution systems, plumbing systems, building automation controls, and fire/life safety systems
- Execute assigned work orders using CMMS technology with minimal supervision
- Conduct facility inspections and due diligence assessments, reporting conditions that impact client operations
- Travel to multiple client locations within assigned geographic territory using company vehicle
- Plan and prioritize work assignments independently across multiple sites
- Identify and recommend energy savings opportunities through system optimization
- Maintain professional client relationships and communicate effectively with property management teams
- Perform building envelope maintenance, interior/exterior repairs
- Operate and maintain production equipment as it pertains to assigned facilities
- Study and maintain proficiency with various building systems, equipment, and emerging technologies
- Respond to on-call duties and overtime requirements as business needs dictate
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED; technical training or trade school degree preferred
- Minimum 4 years of technical experience in commercial building engineering with strong background in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Universal EPA/CFC certification (required)
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Knowledge of overall MEP/HVAC system design and applications
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in various environmental conditions
