About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and develop a team of Mechanical and Electrical Tradesmen, optimizing their capabilities through skills development, proper tools, and technology deployment.
Manage vendor relationships with OEM and outside service providers, ensuring compliance with Management of Change (MOC) and Safety Contract Management (SCM) processes.
Oversee work order management through Corrigo and Maximo systems, prioritizing preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, and minor projects.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical control systems on critical lab equipment, providing technical guidance and hands-on support.
Deliver Fast Response reporting for customer disruptions, coordinate weekend and holiday shutdown planning through the Interruption Process.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in an industrial facility environment with demonstrated technical proficiency.
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience managing maintenance personnel in a represented worker environment with knowledge of collective bargaining agreement operations.
Strong technical knowledge of building systems including general HVAC, motor and pump systems, piping systems, electrical systems, and general building repair.
High School Diploma or equivalent with demonstrated progression in maintenance and leadership roles.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across different audiences and present complex technical information clearly.
