About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manages corporate owned healthcare facility and other campus buildings including outpatient, and office space.
  • Management of maintenance team including regulatory compliance and management, quality assurance activities and programs, financial performance, and personnel management and development.
  • Ensures all building systems and equipment are maintained in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Responsible for financial performance related to Operational Facilities spend while ensuring adherence to established operating budgets.
  • First point of escalation for all facility concerns and/or grievances by facility occupants.
  • Creates annual Individual Performance Management Program templates for all direct reports.
  • Manages staff training related to proper facility maintenance techniques.
  • Partners with JLL Strategic Sourcing and Contracts Managers to ensure all vendor contracts are implemented correctly.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • College degree in a related Engineering field, formal apprenticeship program or technical trade school, preferred.
  • 3+ years of commercial Facility Management, Plant Operations, Engineering, or maintenance supervision experience, hospital experience preferred.
  • Managerial experience required with proven budget and personnel responsibilities.
  • Regulatory compliance experience including, but not limited to TJC, DNV, AAAHC, and WA DPH.
  • Fully knowledgeable of activities necessary to produce a state of perpetual compliance.
  • Fundamental skills in building critical systems such as HVAC, electrical and mechanical, life safety systems, power distribution systems is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including report writing ability.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
