About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manages corporate owned healthcare facility and other campus buildings including outpatient, and office space.
- Management of maintenance team including regulatory compliance and management, quality assurance activities and programs, financial performance, and personnel management and development.
- Ensures all building systems and equipment are maintained in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Responsible for financial performance related to Operational Facilities spend while ensuring adherence to established operating budgets.
- First point of escalation for all facility concerns and/or grievances by facility occupants.
- Creates annual Individual Performance Management Program templates for all direct reports.
- Manages staff training related to proper facility maintenance techniques.
- Partners with JLL Strategic Sourcing and Contracts Managers to ensure all vendor contracts are implemented correctly.
Requirements
What you’ll need- College degree in a related Engineering field, formal apprenticeship program or technical trade school, preferred.
- 3+ years of commercial Facility Management, Plant Operations, Engineering, or maintenance supervision experience, hospital experience preferred.
- Managerial experience required with proven budget and personnel responsibilities.
- Regulatory compliance experience including, but not limited to TJC, DNV, AAAHC, and WA DPH.
- Fully knowledgeable of activities necessary to produce a state of perpetual compliance.
- Fundamental skills in building critical systems such as HVAC, electrical and mechanical, life safety systems, power distribution systems is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including report writing ability.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
