About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop construction cost budgets from preliminary, schematic, design documents & construction documents in support of a variety of construction projects for retail restaurants and associated sitework and vendor items.
- Compare budget costs to benchmark pricing information, analyze quantities and scope items as well as assist in value engineering
- Enhance overall cost controls service delivery by increasing efficiency and improving processes and manage cost changes to prototypes.
- Support in developing and maintaining customers historical cost benchmark for various project types
- Prioritize requests to meet or exceed the customers’ expectations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Accounting, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
- Qualified candidate shall have 3 to 5 years of experience in cost management and understanding of CSI trade costs
- Experience in Construction Management or Real Estate, preferred
- Ability to regularly communicate analyzed data to client and team to achieve project goals
- Working knowledge of architectural & engineering drawings
- Flexibility with work hours and travel as needed
- Highly organized with strong analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to support Business Development initiatives as assigned or requested
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with the customer’s executives, JLL executives.
- Ability to successfully communicate with architects, engineers, contractors, client’s representatives, and team members
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Project software (i.e., RS Means, Onscreen Center, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, CostX, Plan swift)
