About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead employee relations strategy across the United States while bridging gaps between employees and management
  • Anticipate challenges, mitigate risks, and ensure fair, equitable treatment aligned with JLL's values
  • Shape ER strategy, build a high-performing team, and partner across HR functions
  • Guide leaders through high-risk cases, investigations, litigation risk, organizational transitions, and labor relations matters
  • Partner with legal and compliance teams to maintain best practices
  • Lead data-driven decisions, conduct audits, evaluate emerging risks, and prepare for legislative changes
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex employee matters
  • Coach HR partners and business leaders on ER best practices
  • Lead process improvements and programs that enhance employee experience

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years in employee relations, preferably in a matrix organization
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Labor Relations, or related field (Law degree or HR graduate degree preferred)
  • Deep knowledge of employment law, wage and hour regulations, and labor legislation
  • Expert understanding of employment law and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to identify process gaps and reduce handoffs
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to simplify the complex
  • Experience with Workday and NavEx systems a plus
  • Exceptional communication skills (Spanish bilingual a plus)
