About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure projects are completed within scope, schedule, budget, and meet client expectations
Manage multiple projects in various phases of development
Negotiate and hold all parties accountable to their contracts
Coordinate the activities of large project teams including owners, architects/designers, engineers, specialty consultants, contractors, suppliers, operators, AHJs and other stakeholders
Develop, implement and maintain specified project management processes
Communicate project status with clients
Provide detailed financial and schedule reports utilizing PM software platform
Lead project meetings; ensure minutes are quickly distributed and properly filed
Foresee and mitigate project risks and issues
Actively troubleshoot, problem solve and track key performance indicators
Energize, empower, supervise, mentor, and evaluate PMs and Coordinators
Build trust with owners, landlords, developers, institutions, consultants, and contractors
Cultivate new and existing business relationships

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of relevant design and construction project management experience is required
Understanding of technical requirements for high Tech company
PMP Certification is an asset
Excellent interpersonal skills, highly organized with strong analytical skills and financial acumen
Flexibility with work hours and travel as needed
Proficient in at least one PM software platform and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook)
Must have excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
