About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The Project Manager is primarily responsible for the hands-on execution and delivery of decarbonization initiatives, energy audits, and regulatory compliance projects
  • This role will focus on the timely and cost-effective completion of client deliverables
  • Ensure strong project management practices, maintain effective communication with clients, and foster collaborative relationships to ensure smooth and successful delivery of all projects
  • Conduct ASHRAE Level 1, 2 and 3 energy audits, Net Zero Carbon assessments, and retro-commissioning projects
  • Support the development of portfolio and asset-level Net Zero Carbon strategies
  • Execute the evaluation and implementation of energy efficiency projects, including deep energy retrofits, by leveraging project management tools
  • Review HVAC and BAS systems to identify low- and no-cost energy saving measures
  • Travel to client sites across USA and occasionally to Canada, to perform audits and assessments.
  • Summarize technical findings into clear, professional reports and present recommendations to clients.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in conducting Energy Audits, Retro-Commissioning, or Net Zero Carbon Audits
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Building Sciences, Architecture, or a similarly applicable field
  • Possess a valid driver's license and the ability to travel to client sites including Canada
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis
  • Proficiency with Energy Star Portfolio Manager (ESPM) is required
  • Experience with building performance regulations and compliance reporting
  • Strong understanding of building MEP systems, controls, and energy efficiency measures.
