About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Providing operational, technical, and strategic oversight of critical infrastructure across an account portfolio
Maintaining 100% uptime of facility electrical, mechanical, life safety, and critical back-up systems
Collaborating with project management to develop client scope of work documents, formulate preventative maintenance programs
Reviewing and evaluating facility performance using established guidelines
Recognizing system shortcomings and responding to operational situations
Providing training, support, and guidance to team members
Managing CMMS and work order operations
Participating in annual planning activities including financial planning for operating expenses

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities, or related discipline
10+ years of experience in facility/plant engineering and maintenance supervision
Data center engineering and design and/or operating experience
Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a decentralized environment with proven delivery capability
Strong communication and negotiation skills with excellent interpersonal and relationship building abilities
Computer proficiency with MS Office, Word, and Excel
