Key responsibilities & impact

Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire/life safety, and control systems
Support and oversee facility services including preventive maintenance programs, purchasing, inventory control, and contracted services
Clean, inspect, calibrate, and replace components on HVAC and related systems
Operate within a mission-critical environment, responding to system alarms, abnormal conditions, and operational events
Record equipment readings, analyze trends, and make operational adjustments to maintain system stability
Follow all policies related to the safe storage, handling, and disposal of hazardous materials
Complete all required safety training and actively participate in the Good Catch / Near Miss safety program

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or GED, plus two years of trade school in electrical systems, refrigeration, or HVAC
Prior experience working in a data center or raised-floor environment
Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel
Required licenses or certifications in accordance with local jurisdictional requirements
Advanced expertise in one primary trade: Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing/Piping, Central Utility Plant Operations, Water- and Air-Cooled Chiller Systems
Working knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS), power monitoring systems, and fire/life safety systems
