About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the development, implementation, and management of project controls processes, focused on timing of costs in coordination with project schedules and risk assessment for all assigned projects.
  • Oversee the preparation and maintenance of forecasts and schedules, and progress reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to establish project objectives, deliverables, and performance metrics.
  • Analyze project performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to project teams and leadership focused on timing of projects to ensure projects are meeting clients yearly spend targets.
  • Ensure compliance with JLL’s project management standards, client requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Support the preparation of project financial reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Mentor and develop financial controls staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Coordinate with other JLL service lines and external partners to ensure integrated project delivery and client satisfaction.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or related field, or equivalent working experience
  • 10-15 years of construction industry experience with at least 5 years focused on project controls, estimating, or cost consulting
  • Proven track record developing accurate cost flow forecasts for complex commercial construction and renovation projects
  • Deep knowledge of construction means and methods, material costs, labor productivity, and market conditions
  • Expertise using multiple cost forecasting databases
  • Experience working with leadership teams with demonstrated ability to successfully communicate across teams
  • Strong understanding of project delivery methods including design-bid-build, design-build, and construction management
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Proficiency in cost forecasting software and advanced Excel skills
