About the role
- The Project Manager is primarily responsible for the hands-on execution and delivery of decarbonization initiatives, energy audits, and regulatory compliance projects.
- Ensure strong project management practices, maintain effective communication with clients, and foster collaborative relationships to ensure smooth and successful delivery of all projects.
- Conduct ASHRAE Level 1, 2 and 3 energy audits, Net Zero Carbon assessments, and retro-commissioning projects.
- Travel to client sites across USA and occasionally to Canada, to perform audits and assessments.
- Prepare and submit benchmarking reports and other required documentation to regulatory authorities.
- Develop comprehensive Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Programs and Energy Management Plans (EMP) that satisfy jurisdictional requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in conducting Energy Audits, Retro-Commissioning, or Net Zero Carbon Audits.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Building Sciences, Architecture, or a similarly applicable field.
- Possess a valid driver's license and the ability to travel to client sites including Canada
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis.
- Proficiency with Energy Star Portfolio Manager (ESPM) is required.
- Experience with building performance regulations and compliance reporting
- Strong understanding of building MEP systems, controls, and energy efficiency measures.
