About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

The Project Manager is primarily responsible for the hands-on execution and delivery of decarbonization initiatives, energy audits, and regulatory compliance projects.
Ensure strong project management practices, maintain effective communication with clients, and foster collaborative relationships to ensure smooth and successful delivery of all projects.
Conduct ASHRAE Level 1, 2 and 3 energy audits, Net Zero Carbon assessments, and retro-commissioning projects.
Travel to client sites across USA and occasionally to Canada, to perform audits and assessments.
Prepare and submit benchmarking reports and other required documentation to regulatory authorities.
Develop comprehensive Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Programs and Energy Management Plans (EMP) that satisfy jurisdictional requirements.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in conducting Energy Audits, Retro-Commissioning, or Net Zero Carbon Audits.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Building Sciences, Architecture, or a similarly applicable field.
Possess a valid driver's license and the ability to travel to client sites including Canada
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis.
Proficiency with Energy Star Portfolio Manager (ESPM) is required.
Experience with building performance regulations and compliance reporting
Strong understanding of building MEP systems, controls, and energy efficiency measures.
