About the role

  • As a Building Renovation Senior Project Manager, you will lead projects and deliver exceptional results for our client.

  • You'll manage all aspects of projects, collaborate with stakeholders, and provide leadership to project teams while ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Managing and overseeing all aspects of projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to project teams, empowering them to thrive and excel.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients, understanding their goals and objectives.
  • Evaluating and contracting with service providers, including architects, engineers, consultants, vendors, and contractors.
  • Monitoring and directing the work of service providers to ensure performance standards are met.
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously and completing project status reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, etc.)
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, preferably in commercial real estate
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making capabilities
  • Understanding of contracts, agreements, and real property transactions
  • Ability to prepare and manage project schedules and budgets
  • Advanced level knowledge of construction systems with experience in scope identification and preparation.
  • Proven front-line management skills in a multi-discipline work environment
  • Preferred: Master's degree in a related field
  • Experience leading projects in multiple sectors (office, retail, infrastructure, hospitality)
  • Demonstrated experience in change management and driving innovation
  • Knowledge of construction processes and building codes
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
