About the role

  • Manage daily operation of staff in support of mechanical (HVAC, building automation), electrical (lighting, UPS, generators, switchgear), plumbing, fire/life safety, carpentry / building aesthetics, janitorial and landscape services.
  • Perform daily site inspections and provide technical assistance for advanced building operations and troubleshooting.
  • Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance and repairs across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Implement and maintain all related protocol, best practice(s) and methods of procedure (MOP).
  • Collaborate with Facility Manager and team to ensure proper maintenance of building infrastructure, critical systems, assets and rounds / grounds.
  • Collaborate with FM, client’s Data Center / IT, security and production in support of critical infrastructure and continuous operations.
  • Supervise / schedule preventative maintenance programs to ensure minimal disruption to building operations, including business unit(s), IT and Executive ‘C’ Suites.
  • Order parts and equipment for repairs or replacement while maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Provide on-call support to address critical client needs and emergency situations for 24/7, 365 coverage.
  • Responsible for the execution and delivery of the HSSE programs and initiatives for staff and compliance of contractor / vendor safety programs.
  • Ensure the delivery of quality service, satisfy requirements of account’s Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6+ years of experience with commercial building operating systems and general building maintenance procedures
  • 2+ years of maintenance lead, Assistant Chief or management experience
  • Strong mechanical, electrical and HVAC aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot building systems and proficiently operate hand and power tools, lifts, scaffolding, and ladders.
  • Ability to read digital meters, voltage testers, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office/Suite
  • Knowledge of building CMMS systems (ie, Corrigo, Máximo, etc)
