About the role
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of full-stack engineers
- Champion an AI-first culture on the team
- Own the technical strategy for content delivery and web platform engineering
- Partner with SEO strategists and content teams
- Drive innovation and experimentation within the team
- Drive architectural decisions for AEM and WordPress environments
- Own the team's roadmap in partnership with product and marketing stakeholders
- Set and uphold engineering standards for code quality
- Remove blockers for engineers to do their best work
- Represent the team in cross-functional planning and discussions
- Identify and address technical debt and inefficiencies
Requirements
- 12+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years managing engineering teams in a MarTech, CMS, or digital experience engineering environment
- Hands-on experience with Adobe AEM, WP Engine (WordPress), and technical SEO principles
- Understanding of content management, web performance, and SEO
- AI-first mindset in leadership and technical decision-making
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to lead teams through ambiguity
- Knowledge of engineering best practices
