About the role

  • Oversee comprehensive financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and procurement coordination
  • Process overtime purchase requests within established timelines to maintain vendor payment cycles
  • Execute monthly accrual processes for both operations and project budgets, ensuring accuracy for financial close
  • Develop and maintain monthly financial forecasts for expenses and capital categories using standardized templates
  • Monitor project commitments and funding requirements, identifying discrepancies and coordination needs
  • Facilitate fund transfer requests between projects and operational accounts
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of open purchase order commitments, working with regional teams to close unnecessary obligations
  • Provide analytical support for budget variance analysis and financial decision-making
  • Assist with invoice resolution, payment tracking, and SAP system reporting requirements
  • Maintain comprehensive oversight of project portfolios with focus on status reporting and milestone management
  • Update project summary reports every 2-3 days using current SAP data extracts
  • Maintain daily project list updates including completion percentages, work breakdown structures, and status indicators
  • Review project commitments regularly to ensure all active projects are properly tracked and funded
  • Coordinate bi-monthly project status meetings with stakeholders to review progress, roadblocks, and forecasts
  • Develop project rollover assessments and recommendations for management review
  • Support project managers with administrative requirements and documentation needs
  • Monitor project delivery timelines and facilitate cross-functional communication

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or Data Science
  • 2+ years of experience in a data analysis or business analyst role, preferably within the facilities management or real estate industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and draw meaningful insights
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills with the ability to create engaging and impactful presentations
  • Experience with building management systems (BMS) and work order management systems is a plus
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies is a plus
