About the role
- Provide both hands on technically secure configurations and support secure architectures for global JLL network and security infrastructure
- Collaborate with global teams to develop documentation and change proposals
- Maintain comprehensive API security posture through inventory management and security controls implementation
- Independently analyze and troubleshoot complex issues
- Configure and report on the status of current and future defensive measures
- Advocate for the greater Security team's initiatives
Requirements
- 8+ years' experience working with Network Security technologies, protocols, and tools
- Working knowledge of the HTTP protocol, webapp based vulnerabilities and their mitigations
- Advanced to expert troubleshooting skills across the network and application layers
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language, Linux and command line tools
- Working knowledge of multiple public cloud environments such as Azure, GCP, AWS, Alibaba
- Intermediate to advanced route/switch protocol knowledge focusing on DNS, TCP/IP, IPSEC, TLS, HTTP, GRE, OSPF and BGP
- Expert level understanding of network flows and packet capture assisted troubleshooting
- Expert analytical skills to identify potential security threats, vulnerabilities, misconfigurations
- Working knowledge of at least 1 SIEM for log analysis
- Strong understanding of information security frameworks, best practices, operations and technology management
- Experience interconnecting security technologies to solve unique security and application related issues
- Experience building and maintaining interconnected systems for gathering metrics and key performance indicators
- Proven experience in written and verbal communication, expectation management and timely completion of tasks within budget and schedule
- Industry recognized certifications such as PCNSE, PCNSC, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, GIAC
