About the role

  • Execute small project goals through agile and strategic leadership while leveraging national platform capabilities
  • Manage, oversee, and execute the small projects program, interfacing with client stakeholders to ensure priorities are aligned
  • Build and maintain rapport with client representatives
  • Coordinate any necessary due diligence efforts on behalf of the internal team, project partners, clients and/or end users, maintaining and delivering all appropriate documentation
  • Develop and execute project specific and client driven goals, schedules, budgets, strategy and detailed assumptions with methodology for accomplishing and/or managing goals and objectives
  • Act as the primary contact with the client throughout the duration of the project and manage the successful execution of projects so that completion falls within intended timeframes
  • Prepare various RFP's needed for vendor and contractor services as well as managing the vendor selection process
  • Facilitate initiation of all critical project meetings and coordination exercises with internal staff, key stakeholders and external users to ensure responsibilities are efficiently, accurately and effectively communicated and understood by all concerned
  • Manage project performance against schedules, scheduled milestones and critical path items on multiple projects
  • Identify, manage and mitigate areas of concern regarding potential liabilities and risk
  • Provide onsite leadership to ensure performance criteria and standards are being met while contributing to the culture, growth and development of a team through people-focused leadership
  • Ensure third party vendor invoices are received in accordance with completed milestones
  • Manage and maintain project budgets
  • Maintain client satisfaction through consistent project delivery

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of practical experience in corporate real estate management or construction management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate succinctly
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients
  • High levels of customer service with ability to serve multiple clients at any given time, deliver on milestones
  • Create a positive impression for the team and the company
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred
