About the role
- Support a regional project management team and be responsible for providing daily administration related to ongoing and proposed Design and Construction projects for a Financial Services Client
- Facilitate effective communication between team members, project stakeholders and vendors, ensuring all parties are informed of project updates and changes
- Maintain project documentation, including requirements, reports, and progress updates, ensuring all documents are accurate, organized, and easily accessible
- Ensure adherence to vendor agreements as it relates to request for proposals, contracts, affidavits & lien waivers
- Review and process project budgets, vendor proposals/bids, change orders, and invoices within the Project Management financial system
- Confirm accuracy against the budget and/or contract for all financial transactions
- Support regional project management team with daily administration tasks
- Coordinate between different disciplines to achieve the best results on various projects
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet assigned deadlines
- Provide administrative support for ongoing and proposed Design and Construction projects
Requirements
- Strong verbal & written communication skills & a meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to think and work independently, demonstrate initiative, and collaborate effectively with multiple individuals on various projects to meet assigned deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Detail-oriented and organized with a proactive and self-motivated attitude
- Interest in the commercial real estate industry, property management, and gaining broad experience in various aspects of Commercial Real Estate
- Ability to facilitate effective communication between team members, project stakeholders and vendors
- Experience with project documentation maintenance and organization
- Bachelor's degree in, Accounting, Business, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management (preferred)
- 5+ years practical experience in construction or accounting (preferred)
- Well-versed in construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines (preferred)
- Experience with PMWeb (preferred)
- Knowledge of vendor agreements, RFPs, contracts, affidavits & lien waivers (preferred)
- Understanding of project budgets, vendor proposals/bids, change orders, and invoices (preferred)
- Experience with Project Management financial systems (preferred)
- Knowledge of Financial Services Client requirements (preferred)
