About the role
- Lead maintenance operations for automated systems including conveyors, robotics, and material handling equipment
- Promote safety while training team members, troubleshooting complex systems, and managing preventative maintenance programs
- Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems in the building
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, and control components
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on material handling equipment and conveyor systems
- Create and close out work orders with detailed data including labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used
- Collaborate with vendors and internal/external service providers for specialized repairs
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years experience working with automated conveyors and controls
- 5+ years experience with electrical and electronic principles and industrial electronics
- 5+ years experience conducting preventative maintenance programs
- 5+ years experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- 3+ years work order management experience
- 3+ years experience leading a maintenance team
- Proficiency with relay logic and ladder diagram interpretation
- Knowledge of electrical control components and industrial automation systems
- Understanding of mechanical systems, motors, and material handling equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software integration issues
- Experience with preventative maintenance scheduling and execution
