About the role
- Overseeing and optimizing security operations across the EMEA region.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and the effective operation of physical and electronic security systems.
- Serving as the security subject matter expert (SME) within the EMEA region.
- Supporting the wider Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) team in incident prevention, response, and security program enhancement.
- Conducting client security risk assessments, both remotely and on-site as required.
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining Security Operating Procedures and protocols.
- Delivering regular security awareness training for employees and stakeholders.
- Managing security system compliance, including installation, maintenance, and auditing to ensure adherence to client and regulatory standards.
- Overseeing vendor management, including initiating KPI meetings, leading performance reviews, and managing contractual relationships.
- Coordinating Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and break-fix schedules for security systems.
- Monitoring and managing monthly and quarterly security performance, reporting key findings and improvement recommendations.
- Exercising budget control and financial stewardship for security operations and projects within the region.
- Capturing and analysing relevant data metrics, producing security dashboards and reports to inform management decisions and continuous improvement.
- Managing department finances, budgeting, and cost controls related to security operations.
- Planning and executing security for client events and emergency response procedures.
Requirements
- In-depth understanding of EU regulations relevant to security operations.
- Strong knowledge of security system installation, management, and technology platforms.
- Demonstrable project management experience, ideally within multi-site or regional environments.
- Proven incident management capabilities, with experience in formulating response strategies.
- Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills across diverse organizational levels.
- Awareness of basic operational health and safety obligations within the region.
- Experience in emergency response planning and implementation.
- Previous experience in planning and executing security measures for high-profile events.
- Willingness to participate in rotational on-call duty for incident and emergency response.
