About the role
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on automated material handling equipment and robotic systems
- Complete preventative maintenance routines on robotic and automated systems with proper documentation
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
- Perform repairs and maintenance on automated conveyor systems and robotics
- Conduct predictive and preventative maintenance procedures to minimize equipment downtime
- Maintain and troubleshoot robotic cells, AutoStore systems, and automated storage/retrieval equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and robotic programming documentation
- Document all maintenance activities and equipment status using CMMS systems
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year experience with PC competency including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, and automation principles
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills for complex system troubleshooting
- Manual dexterity for precision work on robotic and automation components
- Understanding of safety protocols for automated equipment
- Lift up to 49 pounds and perform repetitive physical movements
- Work 12-hour shifts with extended standing and walking
