About the role
- Provide leadership, vision, and guidance to the operations, maintenance, utility, and manufacturing support services functions (as appropriate).
- Manage the performance and outcomes of assigned staff reporting to the position.
- Maintain interface with third-party owners (Landlords), ensuring total contract (Lease) compliance, accurate and timely reporting, and resolving critical impact tenant relations issues.
- Establish a 'Safety First' culture on the site and improve safety performance by championing our level of awareness and changing all staff and partner safety behaviors.
- Provide overall facility services in accordance with accounts' standard processes and procedures, including application of policies and programs, and coordination of information.
- Manage, coordinate, and exercise functional responsibility for Facility Management services within assigned facilities and geography.
- Prepare, submit, and manage facility budgets with the clients’ goals and objectives addressed, track variances, and ensure a smooth recovery process.
- Support prompt collection of management fees and reimbursements from 3rd party tenants occupying space with the accounts’ owned premises.
- Responsible for overall team management, staff development, and planning.
- Execute staff succession and growth plans. Involved in the compensation planning process. For every direct report, build actionable and measurable career development plans, and have consistent conversations regarding progress. Any other duties assigned.
Requirements
- 5+ years of facilities management experience managing Class-A office space AND a bachelor's degree or higher OR 9+ years of facilities management experience managing Class-A office space
- Strong leadership, relationship building, and interpersonal skills with excellent verbal/written communication, presentation abilities, and proven problem-solving expertise
- Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service
- Knowledge of standard business and accounting practices
- Experience with Excel and the ability to analyze data.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
