About the role

  • The individual must possess the ability to address and resolve any questions or issues regarding Client's operation or delivery of the Work with Client's Representative, including evaluating the existing workforce, interviewing, and hiring potential candidates.
  • The Senior Manager position requires 10+ years of lease administration, retail lease administration and/or equivalent contract administration / management experience.
  • The Senior Manager must possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills for daily interactions; must demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The Senior Manager will be responsible for managing multiple teams providing a full scope of Lease Administration services for clients including: Serving as Executive Relationship manager and point of client escalation, attending meetings with the Company's Representative or other Company personnel to discuss the Work, process improvements, system enhancements and/or special projects; Communicating with the Jones Lang LaSalle Account Executive on important issues on on-going performance; Assuming primary responsibility for client satisfaction of lease administration teams; Overseeing the performance, career development and deliverables for as many as 6 internal teams through the supervision of multiple team Managers and/or Supervisors; Assuming responsibility for timeliness and accuracy of client reporting, including compiling and/or comparing results of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), no less than quarterly with Client’s Representative, and providing data analysis and recommendations if necessary; Ensuring account teams are complying with both Client and JLL internal controls and compliance steps, ensuring immediate mediation of errors and putting performance plans in place as necessary, and reviewing with Client’s Representative as required; Supporting Client M&A activity, working directly with the Client and Account Delivery Teams to ensure appropriate integration into the ongoing business structure; Working with LA team Managers and Supervisors to ensure knowledge sharing and cooperation between the teams and all employees. Encourage teamwork. Support delivery teams to ensure or exceed all performance indicators, internal and client; Developing and implementing work methods and procedures, including written training documents; Documenting and sharing best practices and participating in efforts to document and strengthen internal controls and improve data quality; Collaborating with Global Compliance Manager and Americas Compliance team to ensure that business has appropriate risk management process in place, driving ongoing internal audit program and ensuring ongoing compliance with SOC1; Managing any potential financial exposures resulting from service delivery issues and collaborating with legal, finance and account delivery teams to ensure appropriate treatment, tracking and closure; Ensuring compliance with Client FASB requirements; Providing assistance to the national lease administration group when requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 10 years of work experience in Lease Administration, Real Estate Accounting or Property Management (of which at least 5 years is Lease Administration or closely related)
  • 5 years experience in a supervisory role
