About the role
- Lead project meetings, charrettes and presentations\n
- Develop and track sustainability metrics and goals\n
- Complete documentation including plans and calculations to achieve green building certifications (such as LEED , WELL , Zero Carbon , etc. )\n
- Develop technical documentation, proposals, and presentations to clients\n
- Provide written and oral comments and reports to design teams, owners, or contractors\n
- If needed, conduct project job site visits during construction to monitor progress and ensure conformance to sustainable design specifications, owner expectations and building codes\n
- Support project executives on large complex projects and assignments\n
- Proactively manage project-related issues on account or assignment\n
- Develop scope and schedule for assigned projects\n
- Manage financials on assigned projects (project set up, invoices, AR, etc.)\n
- Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost effective manner\n
- Make independent decisions with regard to specific job duties. Seek guidance on decisions outside work scope.
Requirements
- 3-6 years’ experience in real estate sustainability, corporate environmental management or energy efficiency\n
- LEED AP, WELL AP and/or Fitwel Ambassador experience preferred\n
- BA/BS degree in environmental science, engineering, real estate, architecture, or related field with strong record of academic achievement\n
- Experience with embodied carbon / sustainable material specification preferred
