About the role
- Lead and support the engineering staff to develop a high-performing team
- Support building operations through an integrated facilities management and engineering team to assure infrastructure availability and client satisfaction
- Develop and maintain a strategic plan for the engineering team, focusing on innovation and best practices and create standard work
- Ensure consistent maintenance management practices across the account portfolio and achieve Key Performance Indicators
- Maintain policy/procedures, playbooks and operational integrity for global account operations
- Manage on-account service center, security, data management and EHS managers and teams and actively manage direct reports to meet contractual KPIs and incentive fees
- Identify risks to client facilities and eliminate downtime
- Implement and manage the computerized maintenance management systems in accordance with JLL and client expectations
- Responsible for the JLL Engineering Services Compliance Program and administering EHS compliance/reporting
- Develop and administer technical training programs and skills assessments for facility engineering personnel
- Ensure ESS PEM develops and implements contractual energy management program, including audits, benchmarking, and utility engagement
- Gather and publish energy management best practices and implement processes for reporting energy, gas, water, and sewer consumption
- Assist Strategic Sourcing in bidding, negotiations, and administration of regional or national contracts for technical products or services
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in business administration, engineering, engineering technology or related field
- Minimum 10 years of direct supervision of multi-building operations
- Extensive mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire suppression system knowledge of commercial/critical facilities required
- Experience implementing and managing computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Knowledge of environmental health and safety (EHS) programs and compliance
- Experience developing and administering training programs and technical skills assessments
- Experience with energy management programs, efficiency guidelines, energy audits, benchmarking, and utility provider engagement
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate well, in both oral and written reports
- Strong organizational skills and collaborative management style
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
- Ability to manage on-account service center, security, data management and EHS managers and teams
- Experience supporting bidding, negotiations, and administration of regional or national contracts for technical products or services
