About the role

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with a portfolio of assigned clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, while appropriately managing expectations, and providing timely updates to their inquiries.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to ensure clients are maximizing value from Fusion.
  • Partner with clients to understand their institutional goals, challenges, and success metrics.
  • Monitor account health and usage data, proactively identifying risks or opportunities.
  • Manage all upsell/cross-sell opportunities for add-on products and contract renewals within the assigned client portfolio.
  • Serve as a client advocate internally, sharing insights with Product, Support, Education, and Marketing to improve customer experience.
  • Document client interactions, track engagement activity, and maintain accurate account records in internal systems.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in account management, customer success, or client services, ideally in SaaS or technology environments.
  • Empathetic, proactive communicator who enjoys building trusted partnerships.
  • Comfortable balancing multiple priorities and accounts while keeping a client-first mindset.
  • Curious and resourceful, with a knack for translating client needs into actionable solutions.
  • Willingness to travel; including onsite client visits and conference attendance.
