About the role
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with a portfolio of assigned clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, while appropriately managing expectations, and providing timely updates to their inquiries.
- Conduct regular business reviews to ensure clients are maximizing value from Fusion.
- Partner with clients to understand their institutional goals, challenges, and success metrics.
- Monitor account health and usage data, proactively identifying risks or opportunities.
- Manage all upsell/cross-sell opportunities for add-on products and contract renewals within the assigned client portfolio.
- Serve as a client advocate internally, sharing insights with Product, Support, Education, and Marketing to improve customer experience.
- Document client interactions, track engagement activity, and maintain accurate account records in internal systems.
Requirements
- Previous experience in account management, customer success, or client services, ideally in SaaS or technology environments.
- Empathetic, proactive communicator who enjoys building trusted partnerships.
- Comfortable balancing multiple priorities and accounts while keeping a client-first mindset.
- Curious and resourceful, with a knack for translating client needs into actionable solutions.
- Willingness to travel; including onsite client visits and conference attendance.
