About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, build, and maintain AI-driven workflows that automate real business processes, including LLM integration, MCP servers, agentic pipelines, and automated operations tooling
  • Own technical execution end-to-end, guided by product direction
  • Own monitoring, incident triage, backend production issues, cloud resource management, and back-office support for the field operations team
  • Manage and evolve cloud infrastructure, keeping systems running, scaling infrastructure, and building maintainable infrastructure
  • Contribute across the stack by debugging front-end issues, supporting releases, and handling work outside a defined lane
  • Proactively communicate with operations leads, commercial teams, and external partners
  • Explain technical decisions, business impact, and tradeoffs to non-engineering stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
  • JOLT is unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role
  • Cloud infrastructure experience, with depth of understanding over specific stack
  • AI agentic software development, including LLM integration, MCP, and tool-use
  • CI/CD pipeline management
  • Comfortable in a Linux environment
  • Full-stack capability, able to contribute across the stack
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Customer-facing app experience is a bonus, not a requirement
