About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, and maintain AI-driven workflows that automate real business processes, including LLM integration, MCP servers, agentic pipelines, and automated operations tooling
Own technical execution end-to-end, guided by product direction
Own monitoring, incident triage, backend production issues, cloud resource management, and back-office support for the field operations team
Manage and evolve cloud infrastructure, keeping systems running, scaling infrastructure, and building maintainable infrastructure
Contribute across the stack by debugging front-end issues, supporting releases, and handling work outside a defined lane
Proactively communicate with operations leads, commercial teams, and external partners
Explain technical decisions, business impact, and tradeoffs to non-engineering stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
JOLT is unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role
Cloud infrastructure experience, with depth of understanding over specific stack
AI agentic software development, including LLM integration, MCP, and tool-use
CI/CD pipeline management
Comfortable in a Linux environment
Full-stack capability, able to contribute across the stack
Strong written and verbal communication
Customer-facing app experience is a bonus, not a requirement
