About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, build, and maintain AI-driven workflows that automate real business processes, including LLM integration, MCP servers, agentic pipelines, and automated operations tooling
- Own technical execution end-to-end, guided by product direction
- Own monitoring, incident triage, backend production issues, cloud resource management, and back-office support for the field operations team
- Manage and evolve cloud infrastructure, keeping systems running, scaling infrastructure, and building maintainable infrastructure
- Contribute across the stack by debugging front-end issues, supporting releases, and handling work outside a defined lane
- Proactively communicate with operations leads, commercial teams, and external partners
- Explain technical decisions, business impact, and tradeoffs to non-engineering stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
- JOLT is unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role
- Cloud infrastructure experience, with depth of understanding over specific stack
- AI agentic software development, including LLM integration, MCP, and tool-use
- CI/CD pipeline management
- Comfortable in a Linux environment
- Full-stack capability, able to contribute across the stack
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Customer-facing app experience is a bonus, not a requirement
