About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own vendor negotiations company-wide across marketing and influencer spend, tools, infrastructure, hiring fees, G&A, and outsourcing
Generate measurable savings on existing spend and ensure new and renewed commitments deliver clear value
Build and maintain a vendor performance framework
Map and rationalize the supplier base
Foster a company-wide culture where every euro counts
Own the Investment Request database and ensure spending above thresholds receives proper approval
Track spend by category and flag overspend to budget owners in collaboration with FP&A
Implement the procure-to-pay process, including purchase orders, approval workflows, and payment matching
Build the Procurement function and spend governance from scratch
Work cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, BizOps, Marketing, and Tech
Report directly to the VP Finance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Senior profile able to operate independently from day one
Ideally 6+ years of experience in procurement, vendor negotiation, or strategic sourcing
Experience in a tech scale-up, consulting, or corporate procurement environment
Master's degree from a top business or engineering school
Demonstrable experience running vendor negotiations and structuring durable deals
Ability to evaluate cost against strategic value and make sound trade-offs
Ability to clearly explain vendor deals and spend trade-offs to non-finance and non-procurement stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple negotiations and rollouts in parallel while meeting deadlines
Ability to build trust and influence across Finance, Legal, BizOps, Marketing, and Tech without formal budget authority
Entrepreneurial and autonomous mindset
Current daily use of AI tools and enthusiasm for AI-driven spend governance
Fluent English and French
