About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Team leadership: Hire, train, and manage a high-performing team of Account Managers.
  • Business strategy: Develop strategies to align the Online Business with company objectives and oversee a diverse portfolio of 3,000+ online partners.
  • Commercial: Negotiate competitive deals and special offers with brand partners. Leverage Joko's features such as BNPL and coupons to create new business opportunities.
  • Performance tracking: Collaborate with Marketing and Data teams to monitor partnership performance. Analyze banking and browsing data to identify market trends.
  • Relationship management: Build strong relationships with partners through regular events and meetings. Support international expansion, beginning with the US using existing French partnerships.
  • Cross-functional work: Partner with Product and BizOps teams to improve processes and build solid foundations to scale the department at Joko, in France and internationally.
  • Commercial and onboarding strategy: Contribute to designing the commercial approach and partner onboarding process.
  • Marketing collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing team to establish a robust communication roadmap that effectively reaches users with our top brands.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Preferred experience: 7–10+ years in business-facing roles (client-facing positions in startups or the tech industry, finance, or consulting); management experience is a plus.
  • Education: Degree from a top-tier business or engineering school.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: Passion for building from scratch, embracing challenges, being hands-on, ambitious, and an effective problem-solver.
  • Independence: Able to manage projects autonomously from conception to delivery, set and exceed high standards, and ensure project success.
  • Business acumen: Strong ability to quickly understand client needs, exceed targets, and close deals.
  • Analytical skills: Enjoy analyzing data and making data-driven decisions.
  • Energy: Thrive on meeting new people; strong active listening skills and ability to craft solutions to address challenges.
  • Efficiency: Comfortable with productivity tools and able to deliver on time across projects with many stakeholders.
  • Mindset: Entrepreneurial, receptive to feedback, committed to continuous learning and improvement. Highly adaptable, organized, and autonomous; consistently goes the extra mile.
  • Languages: Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
