About the role

  • Design data models (conceptual, logical, and physical);
  • Monitor and guide teams during data modeling;
  • Evaluate data models produced by development teams;
  • Support the discovery and use of corporate and shared information;
  • Disseminate the concepts of the entities represented in data models;
  • Keep data model and metadata repositories up to date;
  • Propose changes to the enterprise data architecture;
  • Conduct studies and impact analyses of proposed changes to corporate and shared data models;
  • Produce technical reports and opinions on the use of metadata at the conceptual and logical levels;
  • Support other professionals in activities related to data quality and master and reference data management;
  • Assist in developing the corporate data vocabulary and glossary, data management and governance methodology, and other data management documents;
  • Support the creation and maintenance of standards and policies for databases;
  • Assist in managing database availability and performance;
  • Keep DBMSs operational, ensuring stability, reliability, and performance;
  • Maintain complete documentation of DBMS installation and operation, including cluster node topologies and load-balancing system configurations;
  • Maintain and create the data catalog.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field;
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Database Analyst;
  • Knowledge of data administration;
  • Proficiency in relational and non-relational database technologies (Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB);
  • Experience in data modeling and data architecture;
  • Experience implementing database projects;
  • Experience with implementation, maintenance, monitoring, and tuning of relational and non-relational DBMSs;
  • Experience migrating databases between different DBMSs;
  • Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
