About the role

  • Responsible for selling the full product portfolio in the region
  • Responsible for developing and expanding our customer relationships
  • Proactive market development and achievement of sales and profit targets
  • Acquisition of new customers and sustainable growth of existing customer relationships
  • Advising customers on sales- and product-specific questions
  • Close cooperation with the internal sales team regarding order processing
  • Defining and implementing sales activities in collaboration with other company areas such as Marketing, Product Management and Development
  • Market monitoring and analysis, presentation of market trends
  • Regular reporting to Sales Management
  • Supporting our clinical users
  • Training physicians and hospital staff
  • Operating-room support for surgeons during observerships, surgeries and workshops
  • Independently planning, preparing and carrying out tasks and travel
  • Product demonstrations, user product training and internal training

Requirements

  • Degree in Medical Technology or vocational training in medical technology, preferably with additional commercial/business training
  • Professional experience in medical device sales, alternatively as an application specialist or in product management
  • Medical-technical knowledge, preferably in spinal surgery
  • Experience assisting during surgical procedures (OR support)
  • Medical device advisor/consultant
  • Strong communication skills and empathy
  • Hands-on mentality and enthusiasm for learning new subject areas
  • Excellent German and good English skills
