About the role
- Support Brand Manager in strategy development and brand planning for products in the Cooking Occasion.
- Lead near-term execution of brand and organizational strategies.
- Identify and activate consumer insights to drive brand relevance and category growth.
- Champion Johnsonville’s role as a premium sausage brand in cooking products by influencing category strategy pricing and promotional strategies, and execution at retail.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, R&D, Insights, Agency Partners) to align and activate brand strategies.
- Develop and deliver near-in innovation and renovation initiatives that keep the brand fresh and newsworthy, while partnering with brand manager to develop long-term innovation strategy and pipelines
- Lead integrated business planning and consumption forecasting in partnership with demand planning team.
- Provide ongoing analysis of brand performance, competitive activity, and category dynamics to inform decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required
- 2–4 years of experience in brand management, consumer marketing, or category management, required
- Experience leveraging consumer insights and syndicated data (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, Circana) to uncover trends and inform brand strategy, pricing, and promotional plans preferred
- CPG or Food industry experience strongly preferred
- Experience managing or contributing to innovation projects
