About the role
- Planning & Organization: Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead, motivate, and support project teams with varying levels of involvement depending on project needs.
- Communication: Provide weekly progress updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Budget & Resource Management: Monitor project costs and immediately flag significant variances.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks early and develop mitigation strategies for high-risk areas.
- Quality & Deliverables: Ensure deliverables meet scope, timeline, and quality standards.
- Adaptability: Adjust plans as project requirements, priorities, or resources shift.
- Stakeholder Management: Understand and manage stakeholder needs, expectations, and priorities.
- Project Closing & Evaluation: Conduct post-project evaluations and lessons-learned discussions.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Bachelor's Degree a plus but not required
- 3–5+ years of project management experience
- Experience leading cross-functional teams
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, MS Project)
- PMP or related certification a plus but not required
