About the role

  • Responsible for overseeing, implementing and monitoring of sales performance and marketing activities with all customers to meet assigned sales target for Retail Channel for PrimaBaguz Retail Products.
  • To ensure PrimaBaguz brand’s market share in Retail Channel are increase by identifying opportunity to sell/ canvas PrimaBaguz range of products via distributor.
  • Communicates the business’s goals and targets to business team on a regular basis, analyses the sales trends and subsequently defines data-driven action strategies in order to consistently optimize the business’s performance.
  • Coordinate and formulate effective marketing and sales plans with relevant team members either for budgetary submissions to management or as and when the requirement arises.
  • Coordinate, evaluate and strategize marketing and sales initiatives target in line with the company’s overall strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
  • Understand the competitive environment, develop and implement mitigation plans in line with the objective of increasing sales performance.
  • Manage and oversee the retail sales operations in the company.
  • Work collaboratively across teams - including Production, Quality, Supply Chain and Finance.
  • Focus on sales forecast, selling price and margins, customer’s aging report, slow moving items etc and coordinate strategies with respective departments to facilitate/improve the process/result.
  • To perform any other assigned duties from time to time.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting/Business/ Marketing or equivalents.
  • 10 years of Sales experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) OR related industries.
  • Good products knowledge.
  • Understand the market trends.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
  • Good coordinating and analytical skills.
  • Ability to interact well and establish good relationship with all levels.
  • Computer applications.
