About the role
- Responsible for the overall reliability of the production-related equipment and maintaining the entire facility and equipment
- Oversees projects and work of maintenance personnel
- Lead maintenance department operations to drive efficiency and reduce cost
- Support maintenance partner development plans through training
- Promote the use of the CMMS system
- Monitor and drive performance of maintenance work order cycle
- Control and manage maintenance spend in parts and labor
- Support engineering project executions
- Ensure department personnel follow established safety policies and procedures
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field is preferred
- A minimum of 10 years maintenance experience is required, preferably in a USDA-regulated food manufacturing environment
- A minimum of 3 years previous management experience is required
- Must possess excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Must have strong computer proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet
- Previous experience with a CMMS or Mpulse software system
- Previous experience in plant ERP systems for purchase order and inventory tracking is preferred
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks 3-D solid modeling software systems for generating and/or editing schematics and mechanical drawings is also desired
- Must have advanced math skills
