About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide expert clinical product and technical assistance and training to EP/IC physicians and staff on AcuNav™ and SOUNDSTAR™ catheters
- Provide clinical and technical assistance and training on electrophysiology systems and catheter equipment, including CARTO®, CARTOSOUND™, CARTOMERGE™, and Stockert RF generator, during procedures
- Educate customers on electrophysiology products through technical information and in-service training
- Use consultative selling techniques to identify sales opportunities
- Create awareness of electrophysiology solutions and facilitate Territory Sales Manager contact with key decision makers
- Plan and schedule customer case support
- Collaborate with regional teams, Territory Managers, EP CAS, other ULS CAS, Marketing, Field Service Engineers, and Regional Business Directors
- Maintain communication with external partners
- Develop and share best practices with US Field Sales and Service colleagues
- Build customer relationships with physicians, nurses, technicians, administrators, and hospital staff
- Stay current on product instructions for use, best practices, troubleshooting, scientific literature, and new product information
- Prioritize requests and maintain composure and problem-solving focus in high-stress situations
- Engage in diagnostic dialogue and formulate solutions with stakeholders
- Mentor new electrophysiology commercial team members
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum bachelor's degree, or 4 years of relevant professional work/military experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical echocardiography lab
- Must have and maintain certification as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) in adult or pediatric echocardiography
- Must have and maintain advanced clinical ultrasound and echocardiography knowledge
- Clinical knowledge of healthcare industry, disease states, and therapeutic and institutional trends
- Valid driver's license issued in the United States
- Advanced clinical knowledge of cardiac ablation and cardio imaging
- Technical knowledge of electrophysiology technology, advancements, and business landscape
- Ability to travel up to 40% overnight locally, regionally, and nationally, sometimes on short notice
- Ability to sit for extended periods, work in a hospital laboratory setting, attend live patient cases, wear protective gear, and work variable hours
- May be required to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Electrophysiology/Cath Lab or EP/Cardiovascular Device Industry experience strongly preferred
- At least one of CEPS (IBHRE), RCES, or RCIS certifications strongly preferred
- Experience with highly complex technical systems and/or critical patient care settings preferred
- Effective and timely communication with co-workers and patient care teams preferred
- Ability to work autonomously and flexibly in a dynamic environment preferred
- Critical thinking and problem-solving in high-pressure environments preferred
- Ability to interpret large amounts of data into actionable insights preferred
