About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and continuously evolve the global workplace and soft services strategy, including policies, standards, guidelines, and playbooks
- Own governance for workplace and soft services programs, ensuring regulatory, internal control, risk framework, and best-practice alignment
- Lead implementation, review, audits, and continuous improvement of standards and processes
- Identify non-conformance, corrective actions, and follow-through to strengthen global consistency and operational discipline
- Use internal data, employee feedback, benchmarking, and external trends to shape workplace and service programs
- Own workplace and soft services analytics, dashboards, and program metrics
- Lead innovation pilots, workplace concepts, and service enhancements, scaling successful solutions across regions
- Provide strategic oversight for soft services delivery models, supplier governance, and outsourced provider performance
- Partner with regional FM teams and service providers on operational improvements, risk reduction, and service continuity
- Support workplace project planning and delivery through strategy, service readiness, change management, and operational requirements
- Serve as senior stakeholder and subject matter expert in enterprise and regional forums
- Collaborate with E&PS, HR, IT, Security, Procurement, Finance, EHS, Global Health Services, Real Estate, and business leaders
- Lead communication, training, stakeholder engagement, and change management globally
- Prepare executive presentations, strategic updates, and dashboard reporting
- Build team capability in workplace strategy, service excellence, and governance
- Maintain organizational expertise for strategic, scalable, and operationally effective workplace solutions
- Ensure business continuity and infrastructure management standards are defined, maintained, tested, and aligned with enterprise risk expectations
- Support compliance through standards governance, audits, issue resolution, and corrective action tracking
Requirements
What you’ll need- University/Bachelor Science degree or equivalent in Engineering, Business, Architecture or similar degree required
- A minimum of ten (10) years of related work experience
- Strong proven experience in facilities soft services, workplace and/or engineering & maintenance function
- Strong management and technical skills
- Experience related to service delivery, risk management, quality, safety, and compliance
- Knowledge of business strategy and projected business unit requirements for the workplace, infrastructure, real property, and facilities, including impact on the portfolio plan
- Ability to make decisions across business units with authority
- A minimum of 3 years of people management experience preferred
- Previous experience in Healthcare industry preferred
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification preferred
- Experience with MS Office tools preferred
- Experience/knowledge of Project Management preferred
- May require 25% of domestic and/or international travel
