About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the development and implementation of training programs focused on Strategic Account Management and the Management Development program
- Ensure training plans enhance core skills, competencies, and commercial excellence
- Align with the board and engage Commercial Directors to establish priority skills and competency training
- Facilitate virtual and hands-on training
- Adapt peer-led Commercial Skill Academies content to organizational goals
- Design personalized learning journeys using Learning Technology platforms
- Track trainee progress and enable data-driven development
- Incorporate content, best practices, and innovation into customized leadership programs
- Monitor training effectiveness and refine content and delivery based on feedback and performance metrics
- Stay current with sales and marketing leadership development trends and foster innovative learning approaches
- Collaborate with Commercial Training and Development and leaders across functions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience is required
- Sales Leadership experience preferred
- Marketing experience preferred
- Experience in commercial development, coaching, or training preferred
- Strong understanding of commercial roles, sales strategies, and marketing dynamics within healthcare/pharmaceutical or related industries
- Hands-on experience working directly with Sales and Marketing leaders at multiple levels
- Experience leveraging Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other digital learning technologies preferred
- Experience managing and mentoring commercial resources or teams
- Excellent facilitation, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to design and deploy customized leadership development programs
- Strategic, proactive, and hands-on approach
- Ability to build strong relationships across functions
- Innovative and adaptable use of technology to enhance learning experiences
- Passion for developing high-potential leaders in sales and marketing
- Ability to travel approximately 15–25% as needed
