About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the insight analytic function within US Surgical Vision
  • Deliver timely, accurate, and actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making and prioritization
  • Advance data-driven solutions and automation, including GenAI and conversational AI, to produce measurable business outcomes
  • Evaluate internal and external insights and analytics to identify opportunities and threats for the US Surgical Vision business
  • Build partnerships with business stakeholders, senior leaders, and cross-functional teams to identify high-value opportunities, align priorities, and drive execution
  • Translate business needs into practical analytics and conclusions
  • Lead the insights and analytics lifecycle from problem framing and prioritization through implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement
  • Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Leverage insights to shape and execute strategy development with subject matter experts and partner functions
  • Work with technical experts and partners to scale reliable, compliant, and cost-effective analytics and insights
  • Travel for business up to 30% as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required
  • 6–8 years of business experience is required
  • Academic background in data science, engineering, business, or a related field preferred
  • Medical device, pharmaceutical industry, Medical Affairs, or related-function experience preferred
  • Ability to build alignment and drive execution across multiple stakeholders
  • Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, and project prioritization skills
  • Ability to structure complex issues, set priorities, and lead initiatives delivering measurable business outcomes
  • Knowledge of or exposure to AI, analytics, data science, or automation
  • Experience working with technical experts or external vendors to implement solutions advantageous
  • Experience translating insights into digital channel development and/or omnichannel strategy advantageous
  • Experience in regulated environments or initiatives with compliance considerations preferred
  • Strong leadership by influence
  • Ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional collaboration
  • Strategic agility and business acumen
  • Sufficient understanding of analytics, AI, and automation concepts to guide decisions and partner with technical specialists
  • Up to 30% business travel may be required
