About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead transformative initiatives shaping the long-term US Strategic Roadmap and accelerating business performance
  • Build an ecosystem driving internal and external engagement within the US Surgical Vision segment
  • Lead Equipment Strategy and deliver recommendations to enhance the equipment portfolio and value proposition
  • Drive strategic initiatives optimizing value propositions and the pricing framework
  • Leverage internal, external, and category trends to identify short- and long-term opportunities
  • Own end-to-end visualization of organizational strategy and create assets to influence stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Global Sales Management, Research & Development, and Supply Chain to create the US Strategic Plan
  • Design and oversee internal and external professional engagements to strengthen connectivity and brand equity
  • Shape business case inputs for transformational projects, business development deals, and strategic partnerships
  • Develop the US commercialization and implementation roadmap

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years progressive business experience is required
  • Extensive experience in commercial strategy, project management, and cross-functional leadership within the healthcare or medical sector
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a proven ability to influence and gain buy-in from senior leadership
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with a track record of building collaborative relationships across teams
  • Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change initiatives and foster a culture of innovation and high performance
  • Proficiency in segmentation and strategic planning focused on financial and operational excellence
  • Up to 30% business travel may be required
