About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead productivity initiatives, materials management, and supply continuity efforts across the end-to-end Surgical Vision supply chain
Ensure continuity of supply and customer service by improving cost, service, inventory, and materials flow
Resolve critical supply disruptions through cross-functional leadership
Lead, coach, and develop a materials supply management and productivity-focused team
Foster collaboration across internal teams and external manufacturing partners
Deliver cost improvement targets across the Surgical Vision external manufacturing network
Manage the external manufacturing raw material supply network and materials-flow governance
Drive issue resolution for material constraints, supplier performance, inventory risks, and capacity concerns
Identify, assess, prioritize, and mitigate supply chain risks
Lead escalations and rapid-response activities, including root-cause resolution and preventive actions
Support PMO activities and develop project plans, dashboards, governance updates, executive communications, and performance tracking

Requirements

What you’ll need

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required
A minimum of 8 years of experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or another regulated industry is required
Proven experience leading complex cross-functional programs and rapid response or issue resolution teams
Strong project and program management capabilities, including risk assessment, prioritization, escalation, governance, and stakeholder management
Ability to influence and lead in a matrixed environment without direct authority
Experience in root cause analysis, investigations, and CAPA execution
Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes across Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, and external manufacturing
Experience working in global, cross-cultural, and virtual teams
Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally up to 25% of the time
Technical degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field preferred
Advanced degree such as an MBA or MS preferred
Experience in Operations, Technical Operations, Quality, or Planning preferred
Lean / Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt) preferred
Project Management certification (PMI or equivalent) preferred
