About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead productivity initiatives, materials management, and supply continuity efforts across the end-to-end Surgical Vision supply chain
  • Ensure continuity of supply and customer service by improving cost, service, inventory, and materials flow
  • Resolve critical supply disruptions through cross-functional leadership
  • Lead, coach, and develop a materials supply management and productivity-focused team
  • Foster collaboration across internal teams and external manufacturing partners
  • Deliver cost improvement targets across the Surgical Vision external manufacturing network
  • Manage the external manufacturing raw material supply network and materials-flow governance
  • Drive issue resolution for material constraints, supplier performance, inventory risks, and capacity concerns
  • Identify, assess, prioritize, and mitigate supply chain risks
  • Lead escalations and rapid-response activities, including root-cause resolution and preventive actions
  • Support PMO activities and develop project plans, dashboards, governance updates, executive communications, and performance tracking

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or another regulated industry is required
  • Proven experience leading complex cross-functional programs and rapid response or issue resolution teams
  • Strong project and program management capabilities, including risk assessment, prioritization, escalation, governance, and stakeholder management
  • Ability to influence and lead in a matrixed environment without direct authority
  • Experience in root cause analysis, investigations, and CAPA execution
  • Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes across Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, and external manufacturing
  • Experience working in global, cross-cultural, and virtual teams
  • Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally up to 25% of the time
  • Technical degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field preferred
  • Advanced degree such as an MBA or MS preferred
  • Experience in Operations, Technical Operations, Quality, or Planning preferred
  • Lean / Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt) preferred
  • Project Management certification (PMI or equivalent) preferred
